This course provides a practical understanding of the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) Introduction, Article 90, and Chapters 1 and 2. Using Mike Holt's instructional materials. The class emphasizes how the Code is structured, its purpose, and how to apply key rules to real-world installations while highlighting changes to the 2023 edition. Students will gain insight into the intent of the Code, foundational definitions, and general requirements for wiring and protection. The course combines Code text with illustrations, examples, and applications to build knowledge and skills in navigating the NEC and applying its principles in the field. | This course is board approved for 9 hours of continuing education in the study of the NEC (code). |
