| This class is a great supplement to the 30 Hour Basic Wastewater & Water Treatment classes. Designed to introduce new WT & WW operators to the basic fundamentals of pump operations and maintenance. It will also help operators preparing for the grade 1 and 2 certifications. This course will cover the different type of industry pumps and their specific uses, pump lubrication, and bearings. Other topics covered will be new motor start up and shut down, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Location: DMACC Ankeny Campus, 2006 S. Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, Bldg 9, Room 18.
