| The Fire Academy course is designed as an entry level intensive experience for individuals who are seeking education in topics including, but not limited to, fire behavior and suppression, fire mitigation, general fire ground operations and principles, building construction, PPE, water supply, and ventilation. This course is designed to allow students who successfully complete the program to sit for certification testing from the state of Iowa for Firefighter I and II along with Haz Mat Operations. | |
