Description:
This course provides a detailed study of the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) Chapters 3, 4, and 9 tables, focusing on the practical applications of wiring methods, general-use equipment, and the use of tables for calculations. Students will explore the requirements governing electrical raceways, cables, conductors, outlets, switches, luminaires, appliances, and other essential equipment. Emphasis is placed on understanding how to correctly size and apply conductors, raceways, and devices while ensuring code compliance, safety, and efficiency in residential, commercial, and industrial installations. Chapter 9 tables will be integrated throughout the instruction to provide hands-on practice in conductor fill, raceway sizing, and related calculations.

 This course is board approved for 9 hours of continuing education in the study of the NEC (code).
