Just like a mechanic, school bus drivers need various tools in their toolbox to get the job done. Today's school bus drivers face many more challenges than at any time in the past, so the use of and understanding of the various necessary tools is essential to success. This training will place the proper tools firmly in the hands of every school bus driver in Iowa, allowing them to do their job more efficiently, effectively and professionally! A day or two before the course start date you will receive an email Calendar invitation with the Zoom link that will be used to access the class and an attachment with the course material packet. If the driver's technology fails during the course, they will have to retake an in-person class and repay. Please email lahanze@dmacc.edu for technical requirements prior to enrolling. To participate in the course all students must have: ? A personal Zoom account ? A reliable, strong internet connection ? A PC, laptop or smartphone with a working camera ? An email address on record with DMACC that they use in order to receive the Zoom link ? The camera turned on during entire class ? Earbuds (optional, but may make it easier to hear if the area is noisy
