| HeartCode BLS is the AHA's Web-blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. This course is the Healthcare provider CPR that is also offered face to face at DMACC. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where enrolled students are located and gives the student more control to complete the course at their own pace. This course is excellent for students needing to renew their CPR, or students who wish to complete the theory portion online, followed by a face to face skills session. This is a Skills Only session, Students MUST first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS followed by the skills only session to earn the Health care Provider CPR certification. This skills session is taught by AHA BLS Instructor. Pre-requisites: Must have completed the American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode BLS Blended Learning Online Course. Link to HeartCode Blended Learning Course https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls Once you have completed this training, you will print off the completed course certificate and bring a copy to your DMACC Skills/hands-on check off session. If you do not bring a copy of this certificate with you, you will NOT be allowed to skills test and you will need to reschedule and re-pay for this portion of the course. The Skills or hands on session is the final step you need to become certified. | |
