| In this course we will explore the counties/shires of Cumberland, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland, Westmorland and Yorkshire will be explored. We will discuss the breathtaking landscape and historic landscape of towns, villages, castles, great houses, cathedrals and evocative ruins and battle sights of its often-troubled history. We will also look at its special identity and ?separateness? from southern England. | |
