| Join us as we discuss how to make a successful salon business. We will discuss building clientele, marketing strategies and tips to make your business successful. You'll learn all about small business filings, pointers on how to track your expenses and income, monitor your back bar and product inventory, reporting sales taxes and creating and filing a business return. In addition, the class will focus on the latest revisions to the Iowa Cosmetology laws as well as the most frequent concerns of licensees. This class fulfills the two hours of Iowa Law required by the Cosmetology Arts and Science Board. This class will be held in Building 5, Room 1240D-G on the Ankeny Campus. A boxed lunch will be provided with registration. | |
