Description:
Human trafficking affects the lives of millions of people around the world and robs them of their dignity, their freedom, and sometimes their lives. Sex and labor traffickers deceive women, men and children from all corners of the US and the world and force them into exploitative situations every day. This is nothing short of modern slavery. As human trafficking has grown, so have the myths and rumors about it. These misunderstandings make it more difficult to create the awareness needed to confront these heinous crimes. At the end of this seminar, you will have a better understanding of the complexities of human trafficking. Lunch will be provided to participants.
