| This is an entry course on EPA Industrial Pretreatment for wastewater under the Clean Water Act and intended for students, wastewater operators, and regulators. The goal is to train operators to become pretreatment facility inspectors or improve the skills of current inspectors. Topics include development & application of regulations, industrial wastewater sources, source control processes & procedures, monitoring flows, collection, transporting samples, emergency response & more. This class will meet in person 2 days per week for 2 weeks on T/W. Location: DMACC Urban Campus- Evelyn K. Davis Building, Room 223, 1171 7th St., Des Moines, IA 50314. | |
