| This class will provide a general overview of soil basics for septic systems by examining the soil profile and determining the soil color, texture and consistence. Attendees will learn how soil color and structure determine the depth to the limiting layer and to comply with Iowa Code Chapter 69. Participants will learn how to describe the soil profile and fill out the soil description form to be used in determining system design. Location: Drain Tech, 2825 Wakefield Circle, Ames, IA. | |
