| This is a self-paced course designed to teach industry professionals a broader understanding of how onsite wastewater systems protect public health & the environment. This course will build a strong foundation in onsite wastewater fundamentals based on wastewater science, characterisitics, soil treatment, site evaluation, system components, treatment technologies, and maintenance. This course is funded by a grant for technical assistance training from the EPA for County Sanitarians, Iowa DNR, Boards of Health, and Boards of Supervisors. This self-paced course consisits of 12 Modules that you will complete at your own pace. Each module contains a recorded presentaion, course material, and a module quiz. An 80% is required on the final quiz to successfully complete the course. After you have registered you will receive an email with an attachment providing more course information. |
