| To increase the knowledge and competency through training to become State qualified CNA Instructors. These RN's will be trained not only in the principals of adult learning but will be given the opportunity to increase their teaching competency as they lead and teach students through the state approved nurse aide curriculum. Pre-Requisites: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN), with 2 years RN experience. One year of which has to be Long term Care (LTC) experience, or the one year LTC is waived if teaching in a program where the Program Coordinator meets the One year of LTC State Guideline. | |
