This IN-PERSON course will provide an introduction to surface water and surface water treatment. Topics that will be discussed include coagulation and flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration. Other topics include surface water technologies, recycling considerations, turbidity measurements, disinfection, surface water challenges, SCADA, and record keeping, and operation certification requirements. This class is designed for grade 1 and above operators who are working to upgrade their certification and for operators in surface water plants. Text Book Included.
