Includes books and materials • Current unrestricted Iowa license to practice as a licensed practical nurse • Documentation of 1040 hours of practice as a licensed practical nurse • Practice in a licensed hospital, a licensed skilled nursing facility or a certified end-stage renal dialysis unit whose policies allow the licensed practical nurse to perform procedures related to the expanded scope of intravenous therapy. • Facility of employment must have written policies that allow you to perform procedures related to the expanded scope of intravenous therapy. |
