Requirements:

• Access to a computer with Google Chrome or another browser will be required for the online portion of the course. No textbook is required.
• All participants must submit certification in Level One expanded function skill, Applying Bonding Systems and a signed supervising dentist statement at least 2 weeks prior to the in-person Level Two Placement of Sealants lab training date. These documents will be used to confirm eligibility for the Level Two course.
• Course materials will be provided with the didactic portion.
• Each participant should bring 4 sterilized, extracted posterior teeth set in plaster within a dixie cup for use during the lab.
• Scrubs and/or lab coat, closed toe shoes, and personal eye protection will be provided by each dental assistant and are required to participate in the lab training (these items will not be provided).
• Face to face Lab day in Ankeny, 5/16/25,9am-12pm. Ankeny campus, Building 9 Room 2D
• Students must complete the clinical portion within 60-days of the lab day. If not completed the student will need to request a 30-day extension to successfully complete.
