Description:
This course will cover water treatment lab and sampling basics. Participants will learn about the reasons and purposes of sampling, and the sampling collection process (when, where, & how). Other topics include lab equipment and glassware, understanding limitations of test kits, and method detection limit. Prerequisite: 30-hr Water Treatment & Water Distribution. Textbooks from the 30-hr Water Treatment Basic required, Books can be purchased from the DMACC bookstore. Participant number is limited. Class meets in person at DMACC, Ankeny, 2006 S. Ankeny
